What can i expect at an impact class?

A fun family friendly atmosphere where all are welcome! Our energetic and friendly coaches are here to make you feel right at home. Working you hard to get the most out of your workouts whilst also insuring you have a blast and feel welcomed into the IMPACT family!

All of our classes are suitable for all fitness levels.


A quick fire explainer

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)

This class is ideal for someone who is short on time, but wants to maximise their impact. It alternates between high intensity anaerobic exercises and a short recovery period. The reason HIIT is so good is that it improves the basal metabolic rate, therefore providing you with a great afterburn, several hours after the class.


If you are looking to tone your body and shed excess fat, this class would be great for you. Our circuits classes are fast paced, with participants moving around a set of workouts for 45-60 seconds each. The class is then rounded off with a finisher that is designed to challenge everyone together before the cool down stretch.


Relieve pressure and improve alignment. Many shrug stretching off due to its lack of intensity, however it is key to creating a healthy mind, body and soul. This class is great for regenerating our bodies, soothing our muscles so as to to avoid injuries that will set us back from our goals.


A great stress buster! Our boxercise classes are energetic, fun and designed to reduce your anxieties while also getting you in shape. Testing your coordination you will work in pairs using punching motions to build strength and burn calories. The class is also combined with other exercises such as lunges, squats and other core work to give you the full body Workout.

AB Attack

Have you been dreaming of that flat washboard stomach? This is the class for you. Focused on working your core muscles, our AB attack class uses an assortment of exercises such as curls, planks, and twists to tone your stomach. Encouraged by everyone there, it will push to keep going where you might previously wimp out.


Improve your power, balance and agility with our kickboxing classes. Our workouts are based around repetitive movements lasting between 1- 2 minutes each. Exercises are a combination of independent and partnered-up work, where you will be provided with pads. Kickboxing is a blend of cardio and strength training giving you that all-round workout.

Glute Circuits

Stay injury free and tone your butt! Our glutes are one of the largest muscle groups and they support the rest of our body. This circuit class uses a series of workout stations focused on your glute muscles. Spend around a minute on each exercise before moving onto the next challenge.

Weights Machines

A great way to get comfortable with using the machines. Ideal for people who are worried about looking daft infront of others and would like a bit of support on technique and how much they should be challenging themselves. Working around a circuit the Instructor will give you advice so that you can get the most from the class and feel confident about using the machines on your own.


STRONG by Zumba® combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more.


Kettlercise is a body transformation and toning class using lightweight kettlebells. It is a combination of 37 exercises that last one minute each. It is designed to burn fat and tone up your body. The exercises alternate between different areas of the body to ensure you work every muscle group.

LBT (Legs, Bums, Tums)

Looking to work your Legs, Bums & Tums? Then our LBT class is perfect for you! This class is designed to isolate, target and work all those areas to help you tone and strengthen.


This High Intensity Interval Training class will test your cardio while using body exercises and a fitness step. This class is suitable for all fitness levels.


The ultimate full body workout. Discover the power of a kettlebell workout that not only boosts strength, but also enhances core stability, amps up your cardio fitness, and numerous other benefits.

Strong Nation

Strong Nation merges bodyweight exercises, muscle conditioning, cardio, and plyometric training sequences which is perfectly synchronised to specially crafted music, aligning with each and every movement.

Step Aerobics

Join our high-energy step aerobics class, Tabata style! In each track, you'll experience 8 step aerobic-based moves. You'll work hard with 20 seconds of movement followed by a quick 10-second rest. Get ready to step up your fitness game!


In the Tabata gym class, you'll engage with six invigorating tracks. Within each track, you'll conquer 8 sets of intense exercise, lasting 20 seconds each, and then enjoy a 10-second recovery period.

Hula Fitness

This fun filled class not only energises your cardio but also targets your abs. Using a weighted Hula Hoop, you'll enjoy a thrilling workout while achieving your fitness goals with a smile on your face!

Studio Circuits

Step into our studio for a comprehensive circuit class that engages your entire body. You'll navigate through various stations, each targeting different areas – upper body, lower body, core, and overall fitness. The circuit structure involves energetic bursts of activity (40 seconds) at each station, followed by a quick breather (20 seconds) before transitioning to the next station.

Gym Circuits

Experience a full-body gym circuit workout. Taking place right in the gym, you'll navigate through diverse stations incorporating upper body, lower body, core, and overall fitness exercises in a circuit format. You'll give it your all during short bursts of effort (40 seconds), then enjoy a quick pause (20 seconds) before progressing to the next station in the circuit. It's a great way to engage every part of your body.

Abs Blast

This 20-minute class is designed to power up your abdominal muscles! Concentrating on intense, isolated core exercises, this session aims to strengthen and tone your core for a stronger you.


Pilates is a low impact exercise that creates optimal strength through muscle balance and fine-tuning neuromuscular patterns. With regular practice, Pilates promotes a harmonious blend of strength, mobility, and flexibility – all without subjecting your body to high impact stress.


Indulge in Spin, an intense cycling class that zeroes in on boosting strength, speed, and endurance. This high-energy session incorporates choreography meticulously crafted to engage and sculpt every muscle group throughout your body.

Learn To Lift

Learn to Lift is a specialised class that guides you through the basics of gym training. Gain essential knowledge about our different equipment, including free weights and machines, ensuring you're confident in your gym workouts. The class covers key aspects like sets, reps, and rest times, enabling you to train safely and effectively.

Body Pump

Experience the intensity of Body Pump, a dynamic, barbell-centred workout meticulously crafted to assist you in achieving a leaner, more toned, and fitter physique.

Fatburn Extreme

Engage in a high-intensity workout with no dictated rest periods. Push yourself until your limits, pausing only to recover, making it specific to the individual, irrespective of age or current fitness level. This equipment-free regimen employs fundamental bodyweight exercises and only takes 20 minutes.

Stretch & Mobility

Join our weekly class focused on mastering proper stretching techniques. Discover the art of stretching to enhance your flexibility, enabling improved exercise outcomes and reduced injury risks. Additionally, stretching empowers your muscles for optimal performance in your daily activities.

Running Club

A class tailored for all levels, including absolute beginners. Choose to run as a group or take on a personal 2, 3, or 5k run to meet your goals. This group is often comprised of beginners or those seeking a leisurely, enjoyable run. The instructor schedules regular breaks for resting, resetting, and then rejuvenating for the next phase!
